Refunds & Cancellation

Free trial, automatic renewal, cancellation and refund terms. This policy applies once subscriptions go on sale.

Version 2 · Effective date: 2026-07-25

This text is a draft and will be reviewed by a lawyer before publication.

1. Current status

ListBeast is NOT on sale. No payment is taken on these pages, no subscription is started and no payment flow is active.

The terms below set out, in advance and in plain language, the contract that will apply once subscriptions go on sale. This page is not an offer to sell.

2. Plans and prices

Planned launch pricing: $19.00 USD per month and $190.00 USD per year.

There is no lifetime licence and none is planned.

Taxes may be shown separately at purchase depending on your country.

3. 14-day free trial

A 14-day free trial is planned for new users.

If you cancel before the trial ends, YOU ARE CHARGED NOTHING.

At the end of the trial, the monthly or annual plan you chose starts automatically.

The trial start and end dates and the amount that will be charged at the end of it are disclosed clearly before purchase.

4. Automatic renewal

The subscription renews automatically for successive periods of the length you chose (monthly or annual) until you cancel.

Automatic renewal, the amount, the period length and the renewal date are disclosed clearly before purchase and require your express consent.

If the price changes you are notified a reasonable time before the change takes effect and can cancel.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the END of the current billing period; access continues until then.

Cancellation is self-service; contacting support is not required in order to cancel.

Once the payment infrastructure is live, subscription management and cancellation will run through the customer portal provided by the merchant of record (Polar). The scope and interface of that portal are determined by the provider and are outside the Operator's control.

Cancelling means the subscription will not renew; it does not by itself create a refund request (see section 6).

6. Refunds

As a rule, elapsed and completed billing periods are not refunded; when you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

The exceptions are: (a) where mandatory consumer law provides a right of refund or withdrawal; (b) duplicate or erroneous charges; (c) the service not being materially delivered during the paid period; (d) cases the payment provider accepts for refund under its own policy.

A REFUND AND A CANCELLATION ARE NOT THE SAME THING. Cancellation applies going forward; a refund returns a charge that has already been taken and must be requested separately.

Refunds are processed through the merchant-of-record / payment flow that took the payment, never by a direct external transfer. You can send a request to [email protected]; once the payment infrastructure is live, the provider's customer portal will also be available.

For digital services, the scope of and exceptions to the right of withdrawal depend on the terms presented at purchase and on the local law that applies to you. Your non-waivable consumer rights are reserved in all cases.

The final wording on refund assessment timeframes and exceptions will be settled after legal review (see the final section).

7. Payment infrastructure

Payments and invoicing are PLANNED to run through Polar, operating as a merchant of record. In that model the provider is the seller of record and issues the invoice; the Operator never sees or stores your card details.

No written pre-approval has been obtained from Polar and no integration exists. This policy does not replace the provider's own buyer terms and service terms; once the provider is confirmed, those terms will apply as well.

Until the provider is confirmed, no payment, subscription or refund flow is active.

8. Official business details pending before commercial launch

The following official details have not been published yet and WILL be published on these pages before commercial launch (that is, before any paid subscription goes on sale). They are never guessed at or filled in with placeholders:

  • The exact registered title of the sole proprietorship
  • Tax identification (VKN) and invoicing details, where legally required
  • The registered business address and the address for notices
  • The exact competent-court and enforcement-office wording
  • The final hosting provider, the sub-processor list and the processing locations
  • Lawyer approval of the Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy

Until these are settled, ListBeast is not offered for sale and these texts remain drafts. You can write to [email protected] with any question.
